Exciting Career Opportunity for Chief ExecutiveOfficer

The CEO will be responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Company according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.

The CEO will ensure the accomplishment of the Mission and Vision and the accountability of the Company to its diverse constituents.
He/she will report to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the following Key Result Areas:

  • Sustain the market growth of the company at not less than 20% Year to Year.
  • Maintain and improve the profitability of the company as per the benchmark.
  • Sustain and improve the Revenue growth not less than 20% YoY.
  • Control and reduce the expenses as per the benchmark.
  • Review and update the Financial and HSE benchmarks.
  • Identify suitable market segment and create focus on the same.
  • Develop and sustain the Investor relations.
  • Reform IT infrastruture and develop sustainable and secure IT system.
  • Develop an operational plan and organize all operations/administrative matters
  • Developing and recommending to the Board short term, medium and long term Strategies; Business Plans and annual operating budgets.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs and services.
  • Work with staff and the Board to prepare a comprehensive budget and secure adequate funding.
  • Provide the Board with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure
  • Identify and evaluate the risks to the Company (clients, staff, and management), property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to control risks.
  • Conduct official correspondence on behalf of the Board as appropriate and jointly with the Board when appropriate.
  • Works with the Board chair to enable the Board fulfill the governance functions and facilitates the optimum performance by the Board; its committees and individual Board members and help evaluate performance regularly while managing the Board’s due diligence process.

Experience
25+ years working experience in Process Chemical marketing and services.
Education, Training and Experince
Chemical / Chemistry background and proven track record of leading a growing company.

Must have attended training in Corporate Governance and Board Competence.

Experince in the operation of speciality Chemicals and Service Company with Turnover not less than 20 Million USD in multi national operations.

Should be able to lead highly technical team for marketing, sales and service at multiple locations.

Experince in process industrial application like Oil and Gas, Defense, Metal polishing, Food, Sewarage, Desalination, Metal processing, Pulp and Paper, Biological process are added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Good understanding of the Middle East and Africa Market for Speciality Chemical industry

Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills to create and maintain rapport with all Stakeholders.

A financially savvy leader with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and guide investment in people and systems.

Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills,which support and enable sound decision making.
